Established in 1990, Wergs Golf Club has been run by the Moseley family for two generations. Started by Clifford Moseley, after whom our Clifford Suite is named, the Club is now run by his son Monty. Our well-stocked shop has everything you need for your day’s golf. Our course is easy to follow with some breathtaking scenery and we are even lucky enough to have the river Penk as part of the landsc

ape. We offer expert advice and guidance as well as a range of courses to suit all abilities, and our warm, convivial spike bar with roaring log fire is the perfect place to wind down after a game. What’s more, if you’re a keen golfer but your family prefers to relax, our welcoming clubhouse offers full baby change facilities and high chairs, plus a variety of snacks, full meals and fresh coffee to keep everyone occupied while you play your round at your leisure. Our pro, Shaun Ball, has been in professional golf and coaching for more than 20 years, while our club shop is run by Julie Robbins, always on hand to answer any questions and meet all your golfing needs. Our experienced events coordinators, Adrian Bambrough and Amanda Crew, will be more than happy to help you organize your special event in one of our two tastefully decorated function rooms. At Wergs, we take our environmental impact seriously, and our entire lighting provision is covered by our 15kW photovoltaic solar panelling system. Our waterways also provide a valuable home for wildlife, including Canada geese, herons and an array of friendly ducks – all of which makes for a thoroughly invigorating experience away from the daily grind.
