The greatest players have mastered the art of scanning.

We scan to create pictures, to find space, teammates and our opponents. Players often neglect this area which is a key component to being an effective decision maker. The best players in the world scan between 6-8times in the 10 seconds prior to receiving the ball. This is because pictures are important and are always changing. Timing of our scans are also important, especially before receiving the ball.

Ultimately scanning enables you to make faster and effective decisions which makes this a critical skill for all positions.

NEXGEN | ENTICE TO ELIMINATE

Successful players understand the details and master Timing and Distance in 1v1s.

Inviting pressure (Entice) with smaller touches to create space behind or around your direct opponent is essential, this also allows for us to create space for our teammates. The Timing of our beating moves (Eliminate) comes with also understanding the Distance of our opponent. If we go to earlier our pass or skill move could be read, if we go to late this could lead to the opponent making contact.

Understanding Timing and Distance is an art, add in your body and ball mastery skills and you start to dominate your 1v1 duels.

Understanding the WHY & HOW around our Passsing & Receiving.

Preparing space to create angles to recieve on the back foot is a vital & simple tool that players tend to neglect. It opens up players to so many more options when we understand the WHY & HOW. The information that we give to our teammates when communicating also allows for us to stay connected and support in our detail.

We're happy to announce that we will be launching our new weekly programme.

We are launching the following centres..
✖️ MONDAYS - Will see us add our Mini Genz and Pre-Academy Development sessions.
✖️ THURSDAYS - Our Futsal Development Centre has now moved to a Thursday this will also see us expand on this programme.
✖️ FRIDAYS - We tested our Foundation Phase Technical sessions, this will now be our Foundation Phase Development session alongside this we have added our Goalkeeper Centre and our High Performance Programme.

𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮 ⚽️✅️

Wednesday saw us complete our 2 DAY Sunmer Camp. We would like to thank everyone that attended over the 2 Days! We had an Amazing time creating lots of memories and putting smiles on faces.

Seeing the boys and girls have fun whilst also developing their Attacking and Defensive Principles and with us already getting feedback on players applying skills and techniques learned within games with there teams.

Looking forrwad to seeing many more of you down for the next one! So stay tuned for updates on our upcoming camps 👀⚽️
