⭐️Congratulations ⭐️ to one of our Club Swimmers 🏊‍♂️

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀.

In September 2024, Charlie joined The Royal as a boarder. Pneumonia had just cost him his first national meet, he had only ever competed at regional championships, and it was his first time living away from home.

Less than two years later, he has taken nearly 12 seconds off his 200m Backstroke and qualified for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗴𝗼𝘄, where he will race the 50m, 100m and 200m Backstroke plus relays. All while sitting his A-Levels.

No shortcuts. An incredible work ethic, total trust in the process, and the coaching, structure and support to match. Charlie has embodied everything we stand for at The Royal and become a role model for every young swimmer in our programme.
