Fordhouses Cricket Club FCC & Social Club is based in Wolverhampton. We have 4 senior teams and junior age groups from u9s.

Fordhouses Cricket Club was formed in April 1927 and since that time has played a significant role in the life and times of the local community. Although the Club has gone through substantial change it still continues to embrace the ‘ethos of community’. We are committed to meeting the challenges of managing a sustainable ‘not for profit’ community based sports and social club. Fordhouses Cricket Club prides itself in fostering a family atmosphere where lifelong friendships and memories are created. Our focus during the foreseeable future is best summed up by the points below and we welcome your support in helping achieve these goals.

- We aim to provide a safe, well presented, friendly environment for our members and those using our facilities, and operate on a non-discriminatory and fair basis.

- We strive to increase participation in sporting and social activities, especially with children and young people. In addition we will develop excellence and compete at the highest level possible.

- We will Continue to plan, source, fund and implement a range of site improvements/enhancements.

- Moving forward positive partnerships with local agencies (private, voluntary and statutory) will form a key factor in our successful development.

2027 is going to be a BIG year for Fordhouses Cricket Club 🎉

We’re celebrating 100 years of FCC - from our humble beginnings on a rented field near Springfield Cottage to the club and facilities we’re proud to have today at Wobaston Road.

And we want YOU to be part of the celebrations! 🙌

Our Centenary Challenge is all about bringing players, members, friends, families, sections and affiliated groups together to make our 100th year truly special.

💷 Fancy getting involved with fundraising or sponsorship?
🏏 Have an idea for something completely different?

We want to hear it!

We’re also in the advanced planning stages for a major marquee event in May 2027, with some exciting sporting celebrities set to join us… 👀

Those of you lucky enough to get tickets to our Dayton Grey Show on Saturday evening were treated to a magical show. Dayton put his great vocals into practice creating a great atmosphere all evening. He’s coming back early next year to do it all over again too - we cannot wait!

Congratulations and good luck to our Mossy 👏 🏏🇦🇺

Meet Alexander Moss - our second new international arrival hailing from Fordhouses CC, the very same club as Deeners premiership hero Adam Peat and our resident star Michael Gallear. A batting all rounder with a solid head, Alex accumulates runs and is a skillful medium pacer adding some quality depth and variation to the attack. He’ll also be getting involved around the club, helping coach our juniors and passing on a bit of English cricketing wisdom to the next generation of Deeners.

Welcoming Alex to the Deener Army. As is customary, he will be brandished with a nickname as soon as he lays a toe on the turf at Hays, but with so many to choose from we’re reluctant to let the cat out of the bag. Get around him.
