Today, I noticed I was being pretty negative about my body, picking myself apart. Comparing where I was at the start of 2023 before my life started to fall apart to where I'm at now, which is definitely not my best self... I will happily admit this as I am always honest and open here :)
Whenever i have a day or phase like this, where I focus on what I currently do not love about my physique, I challenge my mind and flip it around, and instead of continuing to think this way, I remind myself what my body is doing for me...
You see, we often pick at things we dislike, cellulite, extra fat we are carrying on our arms, on our stomach but we don't often praise our bodies for what it is doing for us on a daily basis...
Isn't it amazing that you can go to the gym and lift weights? Isn't it amazing how our bodies work, the daily functions it does for us? We have so much to thank our bodies for... Not everyone can afford a gym membership, not everyone can lift weights or even walk for that matter! So instead of tarnishing our bodies for the things we currently dislike, try flipping the switch and just remember how incredible our bodies actually are 💜💜
