Friday Night Club Championships this week saw our open GT’s on our Aldersley Track

With the arrival of more hypercars means this class of getting seriously fast. Covering our 88ft track in sub 6 seconds is now very common.

However this week the pace was even faster. With Nathan posting 5.6 second laps on red and green before setting the outright track record with a 5.570 on yellow with this Scaleauto Cadillac. Ash posted 5.7 seconds with a car borrowed from Chris, however had a massive deslot resulting in the body taking some damage ripping one of the rear wheel arches off the car. Mark completed the podium with slot it Lola, we will see if that changes to another hypercar on the next rotation.

Friday Night Club Championship

This week was group C on our Aldersley track. Close battles throughout the grid of 9 drivers and with that many members it also ment we could run finals after the heats for the first time this year.

After the heats Ash top the tables however did not convert it to a night win after the finals.

Ahead of hosting round 2 of the National GT3 championship we have swapped our Friday night race calendar to race GT3’s tonight.

This week saw our classics on our international Circuit. Another week of very fast times and with the arrival of Nathan’s short tail Matra more lap records look to be in danger.

Friday night Club Championship last week saw our Slot it Group C’s on our Aldersley Circuit

With a mixture of set ups running both sidewinder and the new to this year long can inline the pace increases every time these cars come out as our members fine tune set ups.

Friday Night Club championships saw our group C cars on the international circuit

This class has been tweaked for this year with inline cars now allowed a more powerful long can motor to even the playing field against the sidewinder cars.

With this change we now have cars going 7.2 second laps, we might have turned the tide the other way now.

Last Friday Saw round 2 of our 2025 Club championship 2025 and it was open GT.

Pace as always in our top class was blistering with the fastest race times in 7.1 seconds. This will bound to get faster with the introduction of the new hyper cars start to land in members boxes.

However on the night consistently was key and it was a GT3 car that took the win

NEW CLASS ALERT ‼️

For 2025 we have voted on a new class for our club championships. Formula 1 is now part of our rotation.

Currently we are running our Yuletide cup a small 4 week competition over the Christmas period which we have used to run these cars to get an idea of rules and set ups

The class consists of NSR, Scaleauto cars with even a modified scalextric running on the night from the past heart of England championship.

They are fast straight out the box with some of our members down to 7.2 second laps already. I think the 6’s could be very possible in the future.

Friday night club Championship on Friday saw our group 5 cars in action

A very varied class with an even more varied set ups of each car. Even with differences in set up the cars still manage to set very fast times around our international circuit.

Friday Night Club Championship this weeks saw our GT3 cars in the international circuit for the last time of this rotation

A field mostly Scaleauto models with a few NSR cars in the mix. After 16 minutes of racing over 4 lanes the top 3 were split by just over a lap
