The club meets on a weekly basis. We are looking for new or experienced players from Wolverhampton or the surrounding areas to take part in our league and cup competitions. We will be happy to teach new players everything they need to know from the basic skills, right through to advanced strategies. For those of you who don't know, Table football (also known as Subbuteo and many other names) is fo

otball played on a table with small figures (as shown in our banner). Using a finger to flick players into position and to play the ball around the pitch, just like real football. Simple to play but difficult to master, the game can be tactically challenging just like the real thing, and requires good dexterity and hand eye coordination. Massive congratulations to our newly appointed Club Captain, Jason Christopher ! 🏆

Jason has officially finished the season as the WASPA World Amateur Subbuteo Players Association #1!

An unbelievable achievement and a true testament to his hard work, commitment to the game and of course his talent and consistency as a player.

Jason is Wolves Captain, but he also does lots of work to support his local club Solent Table Soccer & Subbuteo Club, who I am sure will be very proud of his achievement too.

We are proud to have you leading the club, Jason. 👏

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Gage Badger will also be leaving Wolverhampton Subbuteo Football Club alongside his dad, Richard, at the end of the season.

Gage has been an integral part of the club both on and off the pitch over the past few years, growing alongside the team and leaving behind a fantastic legacy of his own.

On the Pitch – Gage has been a key contributor to our team’s incredible run of success. He was right there in the squad alongside Richard winning major silverware, including our victories at the inaugural Wobbly Hobby Club League (and retaining it the following year), the Glasgow FISTF team event, the Derry International Open, as well as our recent Satellite team wins in Leicester and Bristol, and the Team Plate at the Majorca Grand Prix. On top of his team successes, Gage has regularly competed in WASPA and club events, constantly pushing his game forward and representing Wolverhampton with pride.

Off the Pitch – Beyond his performances on the pitch, Gage has been a constant source of support behind the scenes. From helping set up equipment and supporting club events. Gage’s dedication and team-first attitude have meant a massive amount to everyone here.

Thank you for all your hard work, commitment, and time given to the club over the years, Gage. You leave with our full appreciation, and we all wish you the very best of luck in everything you do next!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our Club Captain Richard Badger will be stepping down and leaving Wolverhampton Subbuteo Football Club at the end of the season.

Richard has been a massive part of the club both on and off the pitch for the best part of 10 years, leaving behind a brilliant track record.

On the Pitch - Richard was part of the team that won the inaugural Wobbly Hobby Club League, and went on to retain the trophy the following year. He led the team to victory in Glasgow at the FISTF team event, and at Derry International Open, all in the same year.

Under Richard's leadership Wolves also won a Leicester Satellite team event, a Bristol Satellite team event (just last month) and the team plate at the Majorca Grand Prix. Richard has represented England at the FISTF European Championships and has taken part in numerous English Masters events.

Off the Pitch - Beyond the titles, Richard has done lots for the club behind the scenes regularly supporting events with his excellent fixture management, and has been central to our club fundraising, securing raffle prizes and donations to support our events and keep everything moving forward.

Thanks for all the hard work, leadership, and time you've given to the club as Captain, Richard. You’re leaving on a high note, and we all wish you the very best going forward!
