Fat bike in for a service and health check, few things were loose on this one (directly from manufacturer) which would have lead to premature wear, always worth getting your bike checked whether its brand new or used.

Customer brought his bike in this morning regarding his gears being very stiff to change, and his chain coming off.

On closer inspection, the rear derailleur was completely gunked up and the gears required a new cable.

Now most people would have just fitted a new derailleur and that would be the end, but as I couldnt get an exact replacement due to the age of bike, the customer had asked me if I could rebuild his old unit, as he wanted to keep the bike original.

All rebuilt, new gear cable and shifting perfectly, love it when a plan comes together 👌🏻

We dont just repair bikes here at Cy-Cals, we can help you with alot of scooter repairs also.

Here's another job from today, double puncture repair on the Pure electric scooter.

The customer just wanted to have new tubes put in, but we advised to have sealant put into the tubes to try prevent any further punctures.

One happy customer and hopefully we won't be seeing him back for punctures soon.

New chain and cassette on this E-Bike after the customer was experiencing his gears skipping on higher gears.

The revolution of ebikes has taken over, but don't forget that all that power is putting more stress on components.

Our Tune Up Service can tell you how much your chain has stretched and whether it needs replacing, if you leave it too late, then you could end up needing to replace the cassette/freewheel also.

Full strip down on this customers bike today, it had seen many miles out on the road commuting to work, a new chain and a good degrease of all components has made the bike feel like new.

Customer also requested Schwable Marathon tyres, these are my personal recommendation against punctures out on the road and they last alot longer too 😀
