First game back after Christmas and a bit of rust was on show as we settled for a 2–2 draw.

Goals from Lewis Heath and Owen Smith, both assisted by Olly Wilson, ensured we came away with a point despite a fairly lacklustre performance overall.

Not at our best, but something to build on as we get back up to speed. On to the next one. ⚽

Tough conditions out there yesterday! Wet, muddy, and a real battle from start to finish but the lads gave it everything right to the final whistle. Huge well done to everyone who put in the graft and kept pushing despite the weather turning the pitch into a swamp!

🌍 International Men’s Day 2025 🌍

Today we’re celebrating the men who make our club what it is, the lads who turn up rain or shine, graft on and off the pitch, and bring heart, humour and proper team spirit every single week.

Grassroots football isn’t just about the game. It’s about mateship, support, and having a place where you can show up exactly as you are. This day is a reminder that men’s mental health matters, talking matters, and looking out for each other matters even more.

We’re proud of this group, not just for how they play, but for who they are. Keep checking in on your mates, keep being there for each other, and keep doing what makes this team feel like a family.

What a shift from the lads yesterday! A strong 4–2 win with goals from Kyle Barry (2), Lewis Heath, and John Gray. Every single player put in the work and it showed across the pitch.

🩵 November is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 🩵

This month is all about raising awareness and breaking the stigma around men’s mental health. Too many men still feel like they have to keep quiet when things get tough, but the truth is, everyone struggles sometimes.

At AFC Wolstanton, we know that football isn’t just about what happens on the pitch, it’s about community, friendship and looking out for one another. The changing room, the training sessions, and match days are places where the lads come together, and that sense of support really matters.

We’re proud to be part of a football family that reminds people it’s okay to talk and it’s okay to not always be okay. 💙
