We know life can get hectic, and swimming lessons shouldn't be another thing to worry about.

As the new school term approaches, we understand that family schedules can change. If you're currently booked into a day or time that no longer works for you, please speak to our reception team during your next visit.

We'll do our very best to support your child's Learn to Swim journey and find a suitable alternative where possible.

Just a quick update for our Aquafit customers!

🏊 Monday 24th August: Aquafit will start slightly later than usual, running 7:15pm–8:00pm. This change is for one week only.

📅 Monday 31st August: There will be no classes due to the Bank Holiday.

Normal classes will resume the following week. Thank you for your understanding! 💙

🚨 Gym Closure - Wolsingham Leisure Centre 🚨

Unfortunately, the gym at Wolsingham Leisure Centre is currently closed until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve the issue.

This summer, we're encouraging everyone to learn the Royal Life Saving Society UK's Water Safety Code.

Whether you're visiting the beach, a lake, river or swimming pool this summer, these simple steps could help save a life:

🧠 Stop and Think
Take a moment to look for potential dangers and make safe choices before entering the water.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Stay Together
Always stay close to friends and family around water. Never swim alone.

📞 Call 999 in an Emergency
If someone is in trouble, call 999 immediately. If you're at the coast, ask for the Coastguard.

💙 Float if You Get into Trouble
If you find yourself struggling in the water, float on your back, keep calm and control your breathing until help arrives or you can swim to safety.

By learning and sharing the Water Safety Code, we can all help prevent drowning and enjoy the water safely this summer.

💦 Keep It Clean, Keep It Fun! 💦

Help us keep our pool clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone by following a few simple pool hygiene rules:

✅ Use the toilet before swimming
✅ Shower before entering the pool
✅ Take regular toilet breaks, especially for little ones
✅ Tell a member of staff if an accident happens

❌ No ordinary nappies in the pool
❌ No swimming for 48 hours after a sickness bug

Together, we can make a splash for all the right reasons! 🌊
