A little delayed but here are a few pic of squad members in Canterbury for the South east karate open a couple weeks back.
My own Pre comp training on the white cliffs of Dover was amazing followed by a fantastic tournament with a super high standard. A few medals in the squad but with this being only their second tournament this was valuable experience and a great opportunity for the athletes to see the level required to compete but also a great chance to learn we can’t always win to look for the positive and the learning within a loss.
I don’t expect perfection just progress and every single one of these young students have continuously improved session after session and the performances on the day showed they are all heading in the right direction.
