That’s a wrap on the GWTF 2025/26 Winter Series 🙃🏁

And what a way to bow out… with a dry day on the OG venue on the River Thames. We love hosting these races, and it’s amazing to welcome racers from Bournemouth, Kent, Wales, Bristol, Hampshire and more 🤩. There was some epic paddling from front to back, and a couple more miles in the tank for the challenges that lay ahead in the SUP season. Racing against the flow, and the wind, will definitely come in handy at some point 💪🏻

Well done to everyone who took part, and a huge thanks to everyone who has supported our Winter Series throughout these five races, they don’t happen without you. We almost didn’t run one this year, but it ended up being one of the most enjoyable yet. And of course, fist bumps to the venues for having us. 🙏

Next up in these parts, the Summer Showdown. Let’s hope it’s warmer than it was today… 🥶

Race 4 of the Go With The Flo winter series - ✅

Not gonna lie, this one was wet. And cold. BUT these awesome paddlers not only braved the conditions, they crushed them. As ever, we had a mix of experienced racers and new paddlers trying it out, just as should be.

A huge thanks to all those who made the effort to travel and take part. And to our host with the most, Zoe at , for not only having us, but also providing the most welcome hot chocolate possibly ever.

Next race is scheduled to take place on the Thames in Henley on March 29… but I’d say watch this space on that one…

Delighted to be working with to create some merch for this year’s Summer Showdown. Men’s and women’s tech tops (made from recycled materials) that you can train in on the water/in the gym, and a high-quality organic hoodie for every day use. Useful, sustainable, colourful.

You’ll be able to order these alongside your entry from next Monday, and at a discounted rate until the end of February.

That’s a wrap on race 3, and venue 3, of our winter series. I had to pinch myself: no wind, not rain… what sorcery is this?! And what a race, too. Some cracking battles all through the field. Kudos to all those who took part, from those on the podium to the back-out-for-the-first-time-in-a-whilers, and everyone in between… some solid work all round 👏🏻

Really enjoying working with the
crew as they chase their race goals in 2026. Motivated, laser-focused, enthusiastic… can’t wait to see how they progress this year.

Also, it felt nice to be back out doing some coaching. It’s been a while! You can’t beat being outside working with people doing something you love. It was cold, but gold.

Burghfield Sailing Club has become something of a second home in recent years. They’ve been very kind to offer us their venue to us on numerous occasions, complete with free parking and a good cafe, and we can’t wait to go back next Sunday (18 Jan). If you’re planning on doing the UK Gla Gla, or HOTD, or the Paddle Skedaddle, or all 3(!), or you simply want to shift some festive timber, then why not come and get some miles under your belt? A decent distance at a stunning venue, and with good company, of course.

Congrats to all those who looked out of the window this morning, saw the rain, and decided to get out of bed, hit the water and get down to business. Well played! Race 2 of our Winter Series was a tech course over 8km designed to prep racers for UK Gla Gla in Feb. Solid effort all round.

And a huge thank you to our hosts, - sensational music/hot chocolate/bacon sarnies/sauna/pick n mix. You’ve the bar in our post-race offerings!

The next stop in our winter series takes us to in January. See you there?
