Join Us for a Fun 8U Tennis Open Day! 🎉🎾

The Berkshire Tennis 8U county coaches will be holding an Open Day for young players who are keen to progress along their journey in tennis, learning to compete and be part of county training.

The session will be held on Sunday 11th January 2026 at Cox Green Leisure Centre, Maidenhead, from 12:00-13:00.

Some key point to consider when registering for the FREE 1hr session:

• The emphasis of the sessions is tennis fun, parent education and informal assessment led by our 8U County Captain, Rob Flynn and 10U Performance Lead, Nigel Mann.
• Players must be born or reside in Berkshire
• Players should be born in 2019, 2020 or 2021 already competing, (intending/starting to compete in internal/external competitions)
• Players should be playing/training regularly (and looking to increase their training)
• They should be passionate about tennis!

Parents - please speak to your child's coach about their suitability for this session and please get in touch with Nigel at [email protected] if you have any queries about the session.

Coaches - please encourage players who you think would enjoy the session to attend. Please get in touch with Nigel if you have any queries.

🤔 It seems like it was the Easter Holidays only a couple of weeks ago and now we're nearly at Half-Term!! 😮

If you're looking for something to keep your kids entertained and away from screens during the holiday, we can recommend the always popular TENNIS CAMPS at Crowthorne Tennis Club 🎾🎾

Running from Tuesday 26th May to Friday 29th May (9am to 1pm each day) your child can do all four days or just one and it takes place at St. Sebastians Playing Field on the Nine Mile Ride.

Whether they can already play or if they're new to the game these tennis camps are great fun and, you never know, it might just spark a new favourite hobby!

All you need to do is make sure they're dressed for the weather and have plenty of drinks and snacks with them
