With warm weather forecast this week, more of us will enjoy spending time in, on, or around water, so it’s important to stay safe.

Keep yourself and your family safe:
• Check for hazards, including depth, currents, tides, and hidden underwater objects.
• Stay together and swim in lifeguarded areas.

In an emergency:
• Call 999 immediately
• If you fall in or become tired, stay calm, float on your back, and call for help

Sometimes the hardest part of swimming lessons…
is simply waiting at the side of the pool 💙

For some children, there’s excitement, for others it's nerves.
And sometimes a little bit of both.

That’s why patience, reassurance and familiar routines matter so much in a child’s swimming journey.
Because confidence in the water doesn’t appear overnight — it’s built one small moment at a time 🏊‍♂️✨
