UV Safety Around Water ☀️💧

Sunny pool and beach days are brilliant, but it is easy to underestimate UV exposure, especially around water.

Water reflects UV rays, and sunscreen can wash off after swimming, towel drying or sweating. That is why sun protection matters even more when you are spending time by the pool, at the beach or on holiday.

Simple reminders:

Check the UV index
Seek shade between 11am and 3pm
Cover up with suitable clothing, a hat and sunglasses
Use SPF 30+ with UVA protection
Reapply sunscreen often, especially after swimming
Take extra care with babies and children
