Next week we are moving into week 2 of our 5 week hip series and the focus is on “Release and Restore”.

Building on last week’s class, we will continue to work with the hips, but this week we will be adding more of the MELT lengthening moves into the session.

This week will be a great progression from week 1 and a chance to build awareness, mobility and confidence in how our hips move.

What a wonderful afternoon we had on Sunday for our MELT and Sound Bath session with Drew Mindset Unlimited

The session was full and it was so lovely to see everyone completely relaxed by the end and we were genuinely overwhelmed by the feedback afterwards.

MELT and Sound Bath work so beautifully together. MELT helps the body release tension, settle the nervous system and prepare for stillness, while the Sound Bath allows you to rest deeply and absorb the benefits of the session.
It really is the perfect combination.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to Drew for creating such a beautiful sound experience.

If you missed out this time, we are already planning more sessions for the autumn, so there will be more opportunities to join us.

Last MELT taster session for the summer

My next MELT taster session will be taking place on Saturday 4th July in my studio in Wokingham.

This will be the final opportunity to join a taster session over the summer and, as it is being held in my studio, there will only be a small number of spaces available.

This session is perfect if you have heard about MELT and would like to understand a little more about how it works, or if you know your body would benefit from moving with more ease, less tension and better connection.
MELT is a gentle but powerful method that can help with stiffness, discomfort, mobility and overall movement confidence.

During the session, I will guide you through simple techniques using the MELT balls and roller, so you can experience the method for yourself.

No previous experience is needed and everything will be taught in a supportive and accessible way.

Next week we begin the first class in my new 5-week hip series and we are starting with “Finding the Foundations”.

In week one, we will be going over the basics. I am really excited to teach this series and try something different over the next few weeks.

Please don’t worry if you cannot make every session. You can always come to the online class or take the recording and follow along in your own time.

I’m excited to be trying something new in classes over the next five weeks.

We are going to be focusing on the hips, working through a progressive series to help build awareness, improve mobility and support better movement through the whole body.

We start next Monday with “Building the Foundations” where we will go back to basics and begin to explore how the hips connect to the rest of the busy.

I have not taught a series like this before, so I am looking forward to sharing it with you.

MELT & Sound Bath Mini-Retreat

Sunday 14th June
4pm - 6pm
Nuffield Health, Wokingham

Join Drew and myself for a relaxing Sunday afternoon mini-retreat, designed to help you unwind, release tension and head into the week feeling calmer and more restored.

We will begin with MELT, using gentle techniques to help ease tension, hydrate the connective tissue and create more space in the body. You will then settle into a deeply restful Sound Bath with Drew, allowing the sounds and vibrations to help your body and mind soften.

If you have never tried MELT or a Sound Bath before, this is the perfect opportunity. The two methods work beautifully together and our last joint event was sold out, so we would love you to come along and experience this for yourself.

You do not need to be a member of Nuffield Health to attend and you are very welcome to come with friends or family.

As the weather changes, so does our footwear. Plantar fasciitis can often become more noticeable at this time of year, especially if we suddenly change footwear or spend more time walking.

Next week’s class will focus on helping to prevent this condition and elevate symptoms if you do have plantar fasciitis.

You will feel more connected and balanced so as we move into the warmer months you will be able to enjoy the summer without discomfort.
