IMPORTANT CUSTOMER & ANGLER NOTICE 👇

Following our previous statement, Carp Circle has become aware of further information concerning bookings taken by World Carp Socials.

The information provided to us now extends beyond the lake booking connected with Carp Circle. We have been made aware of anglers who have paid World Carp Socials for places on fishing trips and events in France, Croatia, Lithuania and elsewhere during the 2026/2027 season, where the venues concerned have advised that bookings have not been confirmed with them and/or that they have not received the corresponding funds.

This potentially means that a number of UK anglers may have paid for fishing holidays or events which will not proceed as they were originally sold or represented.

We are therefore asking the carp fishing community to help us reach anyone who may be affected.

Please share this statement within any relevant fishing groups, pages or communities you are part of.

If you have booked a fishing holiday or event directly through World Carp Socials, we strongly encourage you to contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040, provide details of what you booked and any payments you have made, and obtain a crime reference number so that this information can assist the ongoing investigation.

ZAJARKI BOOKINGS

We also want to reassure anglers who booked Zajarki directly through World Carp Socials that the lake deposit relating to this booking is currently held safely within Carp Circle’s holding account.

Following claims made by affected anglers through their banks in relation to payments made to World Carp Socials, the funds are currently subject to restrictions while the relevant authorities and financial institutions deal with the matter. We will follow their direction regarding the release or return of those funds and will update affected customers as soon as we are authorised to do so.

We are also fully aware of the social media campaign and allegations that have been directed towards Carp Circle and individuals associated with our business.

These matters have been brought to the attention of the relevant authorities and form part of the information being considered as the wider circumstances are investigated.

We hope the information now coming to light makes clear the distinction between Carp Circle and the activities currently under investigation concerning World Carp Socials.

Carp Circle is an established and professional fishing holiday company. We arrange trips to some of Europe’s leading big-fish venues and work closely and directly with lake owners, clubs and our other partners.

Customer funds entrusted to Carp Circle are handled through the appropriate business banking arrangements, and we remain committed to operating professionally, transparently and responsibly.

Our priority now is to protect our customers, assist the authorities fully and help ensure that any anglers who may have been affected know how to come forward.

We will provide further updates when we are able and have been advised that it is appropriate to do so.
