Former Ryder Cup players, Peter Allis and Clive Clarke have created a golf course of the highest standards that carries their inimitable hallmark of testing the very best players but affording the club golfer a great deal of enjoyment too. Pyrford is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. Ringed by magnificent woodland the fairways weave between sculptured mounds and the 23 acr

es of lakes, fringed with bulrushes, reeds and lilies, give the course its distinctive and unique characteristic with water ever present. The 6,256 yard course is separated into 2 loops providing a choice of starting positions. Every hole is different and whilst the course may not be the longest by today’s modern designs a good score will require careful strategy and use of every club in your bag. The best players may well be tempted to take on the challenge of longer carries yet the design gives the less experienced player a safer and more productive route. Different combinations of tee positions provide a challenge for players of all abilities and the unique design ensures no two rounds are the same.

Yes, we've seen the forecast too. And no, we're not going to pretend it looks perfect.
Here's the thing: some of the best rounds at Pyrford happen under a grey sky.

Fewer people second-guessing it means a quieter course, a lake that looks even better with a bit of drama behind it, and a Lounge that's just as good a place to land whatever the clouds decide to do.
