Do you enjoy lacrosse? Do you want to help develop and run lacrosse in the South East region? WE NEED YOU!!!

The SEWLA Committee and sub-committees have several vacancies this year as we prepare for the 2026-2027 season. We have expanded our committee and roles available to help share the responsibilities across the committee.

This is your chance to have a say in what we do and how we can keep improving lacrosse in the South East.

SEWLA Summer sixes is back and this year it is bigger and better than before!

Sunday 5th July at Grasshoppers RFC

This year we will be holding an U15 tournament in the morning - so grab your school, club, or a bunch of mates or register as an individual and we will allocate you a team

In the afternoon we will move on to the seniors - same rules apply so grab your school, club, uni, or a bunch of mates or register as an individual and we will allocate you a team

To run sizes events we will need a LOT of volunteers so please can you also contact us if you’re willing to run a table (for scoring) or help with admin on the day. No experience necessary!

SEWLA are looking for coaches for the Welsh Rally on 23rd/24th March!! We are taking two teams to participate in the U15 and U18s tournaments.

Coach travel included to accompany the team from a north/West London location. 1 night accommodation also included. £100/ day rate.

The SEWLA AGM will be taking place on Tuesday 9th June, 7pm, with the League AGM immediately after. Details of how to join have been shared with clubs. Please email items for the agenda to [email protected] directly if your club or school has anything to raise.

If you would like to volunteer for SEWLA, or know someone in your club that would be interested please keep an eye out as vacancies will be posted soon.

The league and activities we all get to enjoy can’t happen without the great people that volunteer to keep it going!!

As previously promised, please check your emails to complete the Expression of Interest for additional SEWLA Summer 2026 Tournaments. Following successful trips to Welsh Rally, Nick Kehoe, Lake Como, Braga and Prague, SEWLA is looking to provide more playing opportunities to our Juniors in Summer 2026.

To be considered for selection for these, you need to have been in the SuperCounties process this 2025/2026 season. If you missed SuperCounties due to availability clashes, then please contact us on [email protected]

And finally, an appreciation post to all our umpires who officiated at South East Schools Final. It was a long wet day but they kept smiles on their faces and whistles at the ready to ensure a safe and consistent tournament was had by all.

After some tightly contested pool games, GHS progressed to face Wycombe Abbey in the semi finals where they won 7-1.

Meanwhile Putney also had some tough pool matches and progressed to face Bedford, where they secured a 7-4 win.

In the final, GHS and Putney both fought hard and showed resilience at the end of a long day. GHS Secured a 4-1 win to be crowned South East School Trophy winners.

Well done to all who played and for such a fantastic display of lacrosse and a thank you to .tech who were live streaming all games and providing commentary throughout the day. And thanks to for fantastic photos as always, available through your school.
