A great weekend of shooting with BPC members and guests, including some who travelled all the way from the Isle of Man!

It was fantastic to see so many personal bests achieved across the board – from our youngest shooters to our most experienced. The standard continues to improve, and it's great to see everyone's hard work and dedication paying off.

A huge thank you must also go to all of our volunteers. Without your time, effort and commitment, weekends like this simply wouldn't be possible. Your support behind the scenes and on the weekends helps make every event a success.

Well done to everyone who took part, and we look forward to seeing you all again at the next shoot!

PLEASE NOTE ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY 8th June 2026

Trigger weight testing will take place on both the 25m range and the 10m range.

The option of a 40 shot match is now available please remember therefore, when entering the 10m event to state clearly if you want a 40 or 60 shot match.

First Match shot will be 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm

Firing Point will be open 25 minutes before 1st shot i.e at 8:35am 10 minutes to set up equipment, 15 minutes Preparation and Sighting time ready for first match shot at 9am.

Saturday: 25m
Timings for 25m matches are:
Standard Pistol 09:00am
Sport Pistol 11:00am
Rapid Fire detail (1) 13:30pm
Rapid Fire detail (2) 15:00pm subject to entries and availability of functioning targets

Huge congratulations to Hamish McDonald & Joseph Baker on their fantastic trip to the IRS Cup in Genk, Belgium 🇧🇪👏

Both athletes showed great improvement throughout the competition, with Joe making one final and Hamish making two finals against top international competition. A special mention to Hamish, who topped it off by winning GOLD 🥇 in an exciting junior final today!

A brilliant achievement and well done boys 👏🔥

The club is incredibly proud of both Francine Gilmore and Toby Aberdeen following their recent visit to Osijek, Croatia for the European 25/50m Championships. 🇬🇧🎯

Francine delivered a strong performance in the 25m Ladies Sport Pistol, while Toby competed in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol with great determination and composure.

Together, they also teamed up in the 25m Pistol Duet Mixed Team Junior event, finishing in a solid 13th place out of 20 in a very experienced field.

A fantastic experience, excellent shooting, and a credit to the club. Well done both! 👏

We have confirmed the teams for a packed international schedule including the ISSF Junior World Championships, World Cups in Lonato and Hangzhou, and WSPS World Cup Novi Sad.

From Olympic medalists like Amber Rutter and Matthew Coward-Holley, to athletes preparing for senior World Cup debuts, the next generation and established internationals will both step onto the world stage in the weeks ahead.
