A well deserved shavasana after (Surya namaskar) this morning!

It was an honour to lead this class with so many people loving and dedicating themselves to this 5000 year old practice and I thank you for joining me especially to all the amazing dads who started their Father’s Day with Yoga

There is no substitute for it because it’s so much more than just fancy poses or exercises

It’s breath.
It’s awareness.
It’s philosophy.
It’s self study.
It’s community.
It’s a practice that doesn’t just change your body... it changes your whole life from the inside, outward.

It becomes this all-pervasive thing- and starts following you everywhere in to the way you speak & the way you lead, the way you love & the way you grieve.

And maybe that’s why people stay with yoga for a lifetime.

Because eventually, it stops being something you do for your body...
and becomes who you are 🙏
