We’re half way through the Easter holidays, which means we have one more session of Easter Wivenhoe Family Chess:

Thursday 9 April
2-4pm
Wivenhoe Town Council offices

All ages and abilities welcome, from young prodigies to retirement-age beginners. Drop in at any point for a friendly game.

Please note children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

(We’re also half way through the FIDE candidates tournament. Did you know that Ukrainian Grandmaster Anna Muzychuk - pictured - leads the women’s competition with an unbeaten run? Did you also know that she wasn’t even supposed to be there until another player pulled out at the last minute?)
