Graduating Student - Lyle Whearty
I’ve be dancing at ColneBank for around 14 years working my way up through ISTD grades achieving distinctions in advance 1 tap, advance 1 modern, and intermediate ballet, ColneBank has given me the opportunities to work hard and achieve my best not only through performance opportunities but also through theatre days. I was constantly encouraged to attend these days at institutions such as Laine Theatre for performing arts and Performers College. On one of these theatre days I was invited to join the Performers College Elite Dance program on a full scholarship, where once a month I was trained by West End professionals aswell as Performers College staff. I was with this training for around 4 years while still at ColneBank, which lead me to auditioning to join their degree course. I’ve made so many friends for life while at ColneBank which has made leaving such a difficult decision but I’m excited to be starting at Performers College in September on their BA Hons Musical Theatre and Dance Course. I’d like to thank Miss Jenny and Miss Steph for all the support and encouragement over the years as I would not be where I am today without it and will forever be grateful.
