Posing is so important. It’s literally how you present the package you spent God knows how long making so why skimp out on it? Whether it’s your mandatory poses or your Posing routines you need to put time and effort into them, people can tell when you don’t and it doesn’t reflect well on you.

There are countless courses that you can do with various different Posing coaches, there’s YouTube videos, there’s bodybuilding coaches everywhere that can do decent Posing and will help you. There’s no excuse these days. So instead of turning up with substandard posing put some effort in.

Everybody thinks this sport is about how you look. Gareth knows different.

Gareth was already on the programme when the diagnosis came in. GERD. Gastrointestinal issues that were making his daily life genuinely hard.

Most coaches would have paused everything. Told him to rest. Come back when he was sorted.

We didn’t pause. We adapted.

From diagnosis to mid prep. Look at him.

But here’s what that photo on the right doesn’t show you. The digestion. The energy. The way his body actually functions now.

That’s the real result.

Coaching isn’t just about the mirror. It never has been. Bodybuilding is about functioning good as well as looking good. The diet, the training, the lifestyle that comes with taking this seriously… that stuff doesn’t just change your physique. It changes how your body actually works.

The people you surround yourself with will be the parameters that dictate the quality of your life. When you are surrounded by like minded motivated people your desire for success is so much higher.

That goes for every aspect of your happiness and success as well. Make sure the people in your life align themselves with your goals, and are motivated themselves. Success breeds success.

Prep was not a success this time around and honestly that’s okay. For those that know my personal circumstances they know that things are intense. Way too intense to pull the water off and diet properly.

But we got lean enough for a better bulking position. Not perfect but better. So food is creeping up slowly and I’m filling back out. This is 213.6lbs. My goal is 245 so I’m working very carefully with food, supplements and drugs to rebuild back up.

There’s a lot riding on this for me so here we go.

We all train for different reasons. Some want to be bigger and more muscular, some want to lose weight, feel slimmer, some just want to be fitter. For me I want to be the best example of health I can be for my daughter.

But no one can deny that those who are in shape are just a bit more fun. What do you want a 150lbs soaking wet bloke who can’t lift you up, or a 220lbs muscular guy who can pick you up, throw you onto the bed like you weigh nothing and take you to the promised land.
Haha all jokes aside there’s something to consider.

So next time you’re in the gym, just think about the other benefits to you improving your body and your fitness. You can thank me later.

95kg on the left. 7 weeks later and we are at 97.6kg. Heavier, yet better. This is what happens when you take a client who knows how to train well and is willing to learn and adapt, and mix them with smart programming that adapts to the needs and requirements of a client. Then you get this.
