Established in 1924, our Club - a great family club with 5 mens, 3 ladies, mixed, vets and junior hockey.

We have 5 mens teams and 3 ladies teams, 2 vets teams, a mixed team, 2 indoor teams and a thriving Junior section for age 5 -18. Our home fixtures are played at Witham Sports Ground, Spinks Lane, Witham, Essex CM8 1EP. The clubhouse is just a short drive from the astro and has a great, family friendly atmosphere.

You’ll often find Bob on the sidelines but having him mic’d up is a real treat, the best cheerleader and comedian all in one - show some love for him 🙌🏼💛🖤

Witham Hockey Club are all set up at the Summer Fair down on the River walk (between Lidl and Maldon Road) for all those people (younger and older) to try out some FREE hockey activities and meet your local family friendly club.

NEW OSAKA KIT READY TO ORDER! 🏑👕
Following our announcement last week we are pleased to inform you that our new kit in partnership with Osaka, The Hockey Centre and Specialist Sport, is now available to buy! This partnership is another example of our movement towards the next era at Witham Hockey Club and our commitment to high level hockey - we are one of the first amateur grassroots clubs to be getting this kit in the UK and the premium quality sets us above.

As part of this launch we’re delighted to inform you that all kit purchases are 10% off until the end of September 2026. So get your kit now in preparation for the new season!

🏑👯‍♀️ LADIES HOCKEY OPEN DAY 👯‍♀️🏑

Looking to try something new this September? 🏑
Witham Hockey Club is hosting a FREE Ladies Open Day, and we’d love to see you there!
Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to learn the basics or a returning player wanting to get back into the game, our Ladies section is ready to welcome you.

We’ll be running light drills, fun mini-games, and giving everyone a chance to just give it a go in a relaxed environment - all skill levels welcome. Bring a friend or come along solo and meet the team!

📅 When: Sat 5th Sept | ⏰ 11am - 1pm
📍 Where: Witham Sports Ground
👟 What to bring: Trainers, comfortable sports clothes, and a water bottle (sticks can be provided if you don’t have one)
🙋‍♀️ Who: Anyone aged 13+ (beginners & experienced players welcome!)
