We’re really excited to announce that the **official Kinetix Academy app is now available to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play!

From today, you can use the app to:
✅ Book classes
✅ Manage your memberships

Simply log in using your existing TeamUp account, there’s no need to create a new account, as everything is already linked.

This is just the beginning! Over the coming months we’ll be adding even more features, including:

However, because of the summer holidays and the Bank Holiday weekend, we’ve extended the deadline.

👉 Join on or before 6th September and you’ll pay NO joining fee.
👉 From 7th September onwards, new monthly memberships will include a £20 joining fee.

Existing members won’t pay any additional cost and won’t ever be charged a joining fee.

Changes are coming to Kinetix this September, and it’s all about making your experience even better!

We’re excited to be launching the brand new Kinetix Academy App!

🔔 Receive important updates through push notifications
🎥 Additional member-only benefits, content, progress tracking, and challenges.
…and much more as we continue to develop it!

Alongside the new app, we’ll be introducing a £20 joining fee for new memberships from 1st September 2026.
Fee will be a one-off payment for new memberships purchased from September 1st 2026, this doesn’t include pre-paid class packs, or pay as you go sessions.

Why? Because we’ve always believed in keeping our memberships fair:
✅ No lengthy contracts
✅ Just a 21-day cancellation period
✅ The flexibility to put your membership on hold if life gets in the way

Unfortunately, we’ve seen more people cancelling just for August before returning in September. While we completely understand holidays and changing plans, those short-term cancellations make it much harder for us to continue investing in our staff, our facilities and the classes you enjoy all year round.

Rather than increasing membership prices for everyone or locking people into longer contracts, we believe a one-off joining fee is the fairest solution.

💥 The good news? Join as a member before 31st August and you’ll avoid the joining fee completely.

If you’ve been thinking about becoming part of the Kinetix family, there’s never been a better time.

School holidays done the Kinetix way! 💥
Thanks to Active Essex

Another fully booked Essex ActivAte Kinetix Camp, another day packed with smiles, laughter and non-stop adventure! 🤸🔥

From parkour and acrobatics to epic games of The Floor is Lava, creative slime making, team challenges and plenty of opportunities to make new friends, there really was something for everyone.

And of course, every child enjoyed a hot, healthy lunch to keep them fuelled for a full day of fun and activity. 🍽️💚

Seeing so many young people active, confident and having the best time is exactly why we do what we do.

A huge thank you to all the families who continue to support our holiday camps, and to our incredible coaching team who bring the energy, encouragement and enthusiasm every single day.

Our team is growing, and we're looking for a suitable candidate to support us in the office:

The Administrative Assistant will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the academy and office. You’ll be the first point of contact for many parents and customers, helping with enquiries, memberships and bookings while supporting the wider team with administration.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organisational skills and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

Essential skills:
• Previous administrative or customer service experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.

Starting wage of £14 p/h
Office-based in Witham
16 hours per week

As we reach the end of 2025, Kinetix Founder & Director Brad Wendes takes a moment to reflect on one of the toughest years in our history, and to say a heartfelt thank you to the community that kept us going.
At the start of the year, Kinetix was facing real financial uncertainty.

Through the support of our members, families, coaches, staff, schools, and partners, from bringing friends and booking sessions to sharing our work and showing up week after week, we made it through.

We’re also incredibly proud to share some major news: Kinetix has been awarded a six-figure grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. This vital funding provides breathing space, secures jobs, and allows us to continue expanding our work with young people, schools, and the wider community.
While this support gives us stability and opportunity, our focus remains on sustainability, quality coaching, and making movement accessible to as many people as possible. The work doesn’t stop here, but for the first time in a long while, the future looks genuinely positive.

Thank you to National Lottery Community Fund for making this support possible, and to everyone who has been part of Kinetix’s journey so far. Here’s to growth, impact, and an even stronger 2026.
