As we reach the end of 2025, Kinetix Founder & Director Brad Wendes takes a moment to reflect on one of the toughest years in our history, and to say a heartfelt thank you to the community that kept us going.
At the start of the year, Kinetix was facing real financial uncertainty.

Through the support of our members, families, coaches, staff, schools, and partners, from bringing friends and booking sessions to sharing our work and showing up week after week, we made it through.

We’re also incredibly proud to share some major news: Kinetix has been awarded a six-figure grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. This vital funding provides breathing space, secures jobs, and allows us to continue expanding our work with young people, schools, and the wider community.
While this support gives us stability and opportunity, our focus remains on sustainability, quality coaching, and making movement accessible to as many people as possible. The work doesn’t stop here, but for the first time in a long while, the future looks genuinely positive.

Thank you to National Lottery Community Fund for making this support possible, and to everyone who has been part of Kinetix’s journey so far. Here’s to growth, impact, and an even stronger 2026.

This varied and rewarding position involves supporting our Directors with day-to-day administration, diary management, and coordination across the team. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist with community projects through our not-for-profit arm, helping us deliver Parkour, Acrobatic and Aerial Hoop programmes that make a difference.

💰 Up to £16.50/hour (depending on experience)
🕘 16 hours per week (office-based)

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the members of BNI Central - this group of local business owners have kindly donated a significant sum to support the summer holiday programmes we’re running in mid-Essex.

Thanks to their kind donations, more young people will have access to activities and hot nutritious food over the summer holidays.

Special mention to Paul at KempCo for inviting Brad along to meet the group in the first place.

Hi everyone,

This is a longer version of todays reel with a little more information, and my favourite memory of Abboss.
This Friday is Abboss’ birthday, and we’re having a free memorial jam in his memory on Saturday afternoon at 3pm at the Kinetix Academy.

Abboss was a good friend, one of our coaches, and a truly wonderful person who we sadly lost in January 2019.
As we’re now over 6 years on, it occurred to me that many people at Kientx won’t have ever met Abboss, or really understand why we have the scholarship every year.�
