Irrigation system repairs today and a nice fresh set of atomic toughened steel blades on the rough mower. Jobs like this carried out in house where possible to keep costs down

Busy day today with our volunteers targeting badger damage at 9,13 &14. All greens verti-cut and double cut & all greens aerated with the Air2g2. We also had 2 volunteers who started a litter pick round the perimeter of the course. Thanks to all the volunteers and also Billy at Pro-Turf care.

After a decent spell of weather over the last few days, we have verti drained greens with 13mm solid tines to a depth of 7 inches. All greens have now been sanded and brushed in. We have also taken the opportunity to feed greens with a granular fertiliser. All tees and approaches have been cut and fairways have been brushed as we feel it’s still slightly too soft to put the fairway mower on them. Fairway markers have also been trimmed and painted.
