🚨 SILLOTH FUN DAY RESULT 🚨

Many thanks to the 70 golfers who took part in our annual SILLOTH FUN DAY.

Congratulations to Allan McLeary and John Boyle who won the event with a great score of 70.33. They pipped the pairing of Graham and Adam Dobbie on the BIH ruling.

The near the pin on 17th was won by Eddie Pearson. The long drive at 18th was won by Cameron Potter.

Well done to The Kitchen at Wishaw Golf Club for the fantastic BBQ. Thanks also to Cathy and her team for the bar.

I would like to thank my young assistant Gregor for stepping up and running the event. Well done young man.

⛳️ PARKY’S 10th PRO DAY RESULTS ⛳️

Firstly many thanks to all the golfers who played today and supported the event. We were down on numbers on previous years, this was no doubt due to the day unfortunately being a Sunday. Still a fantastic array of prizes awaited.

Well done to all the winners. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the format. The 2 scores at the par 3’s certainly made it interesting.

Well done to B. Karran and J. McCormack who pipped L. Smith and E.Docherty on the BIH. Exciting stuff.

Could all prize winners please collect their prizes from the pro shop, at your earliest convenience of course.

Big thanks to the Cathy and her staff for pouring the pints, to Terry and his staff for the amazing food. To my staff Ben and Gregor for doing a great job in hustling you all in the “no lose gamble” 😆😆

We still have availability for the above event this coming Sunday. Usually a member/guest day but not at capacity. Teams can also be made up of member/member or guest/guest combinations. Hopefully this will help max it out.

* Teams should ideally consist of a member and a guest
* All players must hold a valid WHS handicap
* Format: Pairs better ball (best nett score to count, except on par 3s where both nett scores count)
* 85% handicap allowance (WHS)
* Men will play from the white tees; ladies from the red tees
* Entry fee: £40 per pair

Well I think that’s golf in a nutshell right there.

An absolute horror show at the at the wonderful Oxfordshire Golf Club. Really tough conditions but couldn’t seem to do anything right especially round about the greens and putting. 🤦‍♂️

Next day I was at the majestic Kilspindie Golf Club to tackle their course. Another blustery days with all 4 seasons in one round. Many thanks to Alan Lockhart for organising the event for the team TaylorMade staff. 🏌️
