As the opening ceremony approaches, I am very excited to say I have been invited to attend the Games as part of Team GB’s Olympic Ambition Programme. The program is designed to give young athletes the chance to experience the Olympic environment and see first hand what goes on during the event, with the aim of competing at the next Games in four years time. I’ll be lucky enough to watch a variety of sports, including the equestrian disciplines. I’ve got everything crossed for our Team GB athlete’s and have no doubt they will do amazingly well πŸ€©πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

A huge thank you to and the British Olympic Association for giving me this opportunity!

Congratulations Natasha, what a fabulous result πŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

What a turn around 🀩 Day 2 of Wellington Riding School and the sun shone (yes, I still wore thermals!), my body behaved and Lottie continued her fabulous form. We have turned a bit of a corner since Hickstead and things are starting feeling more together. We had a win with a fabulous 75.2% still with plenty in the tank for moreπŸ₯‚πŸ†

Yesterday was freestyle day, my favourite day, and a second opportunity to dance to my new music from Shania Twain and Cher made by the fabulous Nicole PendzichπŸ’ƒπŸͺ© Lottie was really with me, much more than our previous competition and she totally smashed it with just over 80%, we got a magical 10 and it was my highest score since 2021 and a smidge under my PB πŸ₯³

Now to polish up on some bits ready for Hartpury Equine International Events in a few weeks time, this will be our final selection towards Paris 2024 and we cannot wait πŸ‘Š

Massive thanks as always to Mum, Lisa Hopkins Dressage, Marc and Joshua for being the dream team πŸ’™ to my fabulous owner Joanna Jensen for being an amazing cheerleader. Also to all of British Equestrian and my amazing sponsors for their endless support.

Clever Rubi finishing 6th today in the AM Gold at the Winter Championships 🀩

I really couldn’t have asked any more from him today! A little spook and one less than perfect walk pirouette, but super happy with the difference in his way of going since regionals only a few months ago. Encouraging him to take the contact forwards is something we constantly work on, but it’s great to see and feel the improvement in his frame as he becomes stronger. Thank you for helping with Rubi’s riding and routine at home. It’s always helpful to bounce ideas off one another to give the horses the best chance to shine. Onwards to PSG now 🀩

Huge thank you to Rubi’s owners, Trish and Sarah too. The unwavering support through all the highs and lows that the sport brings, on and off horse, is never taken for granted. One step closer to the Grand Prix dream for your special boy!

Last but not least, thank you to all the team at home for making sure the horses are always happy, as well as our wonderful sponsors πŸ™πŸΌ

Shoutout to and too for hosting a great championships. A mammoth show to bring together but very much appreciated by all riders!

The Crank was originally known as a Swedish Cavesson. When fitted correctly and following the two-finger rule, the crank has been found to be less restrictive than a traditional cavesson. It should sit with space below the bottom of the facial crest, you should be able to get two fingers under the noseband on the front of the nasal plane and the back section should be padded and fitted centrally, covering the bony areas of the jaw.
A Qualified Bridle Fitter will be able to help you fit it correctly.
