OK boys and girls, it's fathers day Sunday so I'm spending it with my son. How about we move the club this week to Saturday 930am ironworks Wisbech.

BDFPA mentoring camp.
Following our teams success at the recent World Single Lift Championships in France the BDFPA via multiple World Bench Press Champion, James Jeffries will be hosting mentoring days for all levels of BDFPA members. The purpose of these days is for lfe terms to get together with other members and develop an enhanced team ethos in preparation for those who will attend National and above events. These days are not designed to change any coaching methods you are undertaking nor replace your current training regime.
The intention is to build team rapor in the BDFPA and everyone is welcome. If you're inexperienced then perhaps you can learn and indeed if you're experienced perhaps you can pass on your experience to other members. The intention is to have a fully cohesive team to lift Nationally and Internationally in the future.
The camp will take place at Ironworks gym, Wisbech, cambs from 1pm on Sunday the 31st of July 2022.

We've had a fantastic time here at the World Championships in France. Neil won bench press, I won bench press and marcelo got two second places and a win in deadlift.The English team placed second overall. I'm now an international referee too. The two things I've learnt from this weekend is I'm totally devoted to this sport, and I'm a bloody good coach . We had competitors ranging from a 14 year old girl to an 84 year old man.! So if you read this post there's nothing stopping you joining my club and competing at any level. Sunday motnings at ironworks Wisbech is producing world champion powerlifters, come and be a part of it!

OK lifters, I'm currently at home with two coughing children awaiting tests so I better not come to club tonight . Josh b will be on hand this evening but I will be in Wednesday night (so long as I'm clear) for a special mid week powerlifting club 5:30start. Come and use me and my somewhat extensive knowledge of powerlifting please. See you Wednesday

Hey success is only awarded with hard work. Marcelo trains with me at motiv8 powerlifting. This is a hard and ropey 170kg after an easy 160 kg bench press.

Clubs back running and members lifting to our usual high standard. I'm back to coaching in the gym so get down to see us and come join in with the British drug free powerlifting association. Sundays 10am and Mondays 5pm. All abilities are welcome. I'm james jeffries and I'll try my best to help you.
