This Sunday, we travel to Downs Barn Pavillion to face newly promoted Dons Action in what promises to be a cracking season opener.

After another remarkable season, the Nags are back and ready to go again. Last season saw us crowned back-to-back Premier Division Champions 🏆, clinch our 4th successive Knock-out Cup 🏆 and lift the inaugural John Fenner Memorial Shield 🛡️. Now, the slate is clean, the boys are hungry and the challenge starts again. Can we make it another season to remember?

⚽️🐴 Football is So Back 🐴⚽️

With the Premier League kicking off this weekend football is finally back ! And what a weekend of football it will be, Our league campaign officially starts next weekend so we head over to Northampton tomorrow, to face back to back treble Winning side NorthStar FC. After beating the best that the North Bucks had to offer in the Inaugural John Fenner Memorial Shield, we'll be looking to test ourselves against the most inform team in Northamptons Sunday league.

But thats tomorrow, today sees our Town play host to the most prestigious Cup competition in the country as Winslow Utd Fc face Longlevens AFC in the FA CUP at the Gate this afternoon 🟡🔵 and if thats not enough, Our Gaffer and your favourite Nags lads will be representing our great town as Winslow Reserves kick off their Spartan South Mids Div.2 campaign after being crowned Champions of the Spartan South Mids Devolpment league in its inaugural season.

🐴⚽️ Pre-Season Friendlies Confirmed ⚽️🐴

After another fantastic season winning the treble, we now set our sites on the 2026/2027 season. And to get us warmed up we have two friendlies booked in, firstly a trip to face newly promoted Grid City Warriors on July 26th, who will be a tough test if the performances in their first couple of seasons are anything to go by, then its over to Newport Pagnell Town on the 9th of August, a newly formed side bolstered by some experienced prem players and management formerly of ObCity. Both games should be a good test for our lads after several weeks of celebrating 🏆🏆🏆

⚽️🐴 End Of Season Awards 🐴⚽️

This Saturday we capped off a treble winning season in true Nags Fashion in the pub garden, with the beers flowing, burgers cooking, horses heads downed and Kevin Owusu chants getting us noise complaints 🤣 so heres what the gaffer had to say on the night :

"First off — massive gratitude to ALL OUR SPONSORS. This club runs on a shoestring budget, and honestly? Without your support, none of this happens. Thank you for backing us! 🙏

💛 Kath & Dave — thank you so much for having us again for another season! We know we’re not always the easiest bunch to manage, but we love you for putting up with us. Proud to keep playing under such a legendary club name. 💪

⚽ Jim — huge thanks for organising all our kit, fines and for making it possible for us to enter the FA Cup too! We’re already looking forward to going on a proper run in that competition next season 🏆

👕 TO THE PLAYERS — where do I even start?! The quality, togetherness and commitment in this squad is unreal. You don’t win trophies like we have without every single one of you giving everything. Huge thank you — this success belongs to you lot! 🤝

🔙 Ronnie — our former Gaffa! — thanks for stepping in and helping out whenever needed. Special mention for the Bromham away game over Christmas… our centre-back partnership that day had a combined age of about 70… but we ground out 3 huge points that helped us go on and win the league! Absolute scenes 😂

🩺 Goldie — our Physio! — thanks for being utterly useless yet again this season…! 😜🤣

🧠 Knibbsy — and obviously… BIGGEST thanks to you for holding the whole thing together! We’d be lost without you! 🫡"

📊 OUR SEASON IN REVIEW

Started by losing the first game… after Fazza confidently told Jim we wouldn’t lose a single match all season 😂 Classic start!

But Ronnie in goal and big Kev on the wing got us back to winning ways against Smith Skipps, completely ignoring the idea to get the ball down and play, by going route 1 for both the goals that clinched the 3 points.

Things really clicked mid-season — a master stroke moving Charlie Holland up front, plus Harry Heritage returning fully fit… and we came roaring back! 🚀 From there: win after win, goal after goal, we were unstoppable.

✅ League Champions! — Okay… half the league dropped out along the way 😂 but hey, we still won it! And let’s be honest — we wouldn’t want to lift it any other way. Our brand of “sh*thousery” remains absolutely top tier 😎

🏆 Cup Success AGAIN! A fourth successive Knockout Cup, but the absolute highlight? Beating Stewkley in the inaugural John Fenner Memorial Shield Final! We went out and smashed them 4-1 — proper statement performance! 💥

• Managers Player - Toby Herdman-Smith with 17 Goals | 10 Assists

• Top Playmaker - The Skipper Charlie Rowe with 16 Goals | 11 Assists

• Donkey of The Season - Ryan Carter who just wanted a free drink every game 🍺

• Goal of The Season - Oscar Bones with a ridiculous Rabona

• Clubman - Ryan Carter who Epitomises what it means to be part of the Nags Head

• Chairmans Choice - Kevin Owusu argueably the nicest guy in local football and a great addition this season.

The lads now have a few weeks to rest up, recover… and we’ll be back stronger for more next year! 💪⚽🔥

🐴⚽️ The Boys Are Back In Town ⚽️🐴

We are thrilled to announce that club legends Nick Farrow and Mike Knibbs are back at the helm — ready to lead the Nags Head FC into another thrilling campaign and bring even more silverware home to the pub!

Off the back of a record-breaking, history-making TREBLE WINNING SEASON — one that will go down in MK Sunday League history and no doubt leave a sour taste in the hatewatchers mouths, and we love it !

🏆 MKSL Premier Division – Secured for 3rd time in 4 seasons, cementing our status as the league’s elite force.
🏆 MKSL Knock-Out Cup – Lifted for a fourth consecutive season — a feat of consistency and pure dominance that will never be matched.
🏆 John Fenner Memorial Shield – Crowned the very first ever winners, Representing MKSL beating the best the North Bucks had to offer with ease.

This wasn’t just a successful season — it showed the growth of this small pub team.

Now Fazza, Knibbsy and the squad are hungry for more, ready to defend our crowns and chase new honours.

But thats enough about the old guys.
