A massive congratulations to our WTFC Knights U9 Orange team on winning a trophy at our fantastic WTFC End of Season Tournament!

Our entire team truly embody resilience, determination, and a never-give-up attitude. Their grassroots football journey hasn’t always been easy, but they have continued to work hard, support one another, and grow as a team every step of the way.

Their progress over the season has been incredible, and this achievement is thoroughly deserved. It was fantastic to see their commitment and perseverance rewarded with silverware.

Yesterday, Winsford Town U13 Girls travelled to the Rhyl Tournament and put in an incredible performance against strong opposition in a mixed-age group that included U14 teams.

The girls showed fantastic determination and character throughout the day, battling their way to the final. A dramatic semi-final saw them hold their nerve to secure a thrilling 5-4 victory on penalties, earning their place in the showpiece match.

After giving absolutely everything in the final, they were heartbreakingly beaten 1-0 by the very last kick of the game. While the result wasn't what they deserved, the team can be immensely proud of their effort, teamwork, and resilience throughout the tournament.

A brilliant achievement to reach the final — heads held high, girls! 💙⚽👏🏆
