Forgot to take a picture so this is one from this years’ car show. 3v3 gave a great competition today. Two matches both drawn with spectacular sticks from Coaches. He then went on to win the one stick prize in an elongated play off with NPC. Plod also set a record as he easily consumed three bacon sarnies. Well done Sir.

Another Sunday full of fun and sun!! (Bit cloudy to be honest). 3v3. Cuddles clear in front as top scorer but didn’t manage to be on a winning team!! There will be no get to together next week due to the cricket match. Doug took the one stick prize of the day following play off with NPC.

Absentee Painter suffering from
the over enthusiastic celebration of Spud’s 70th & the excellent music at the Seven Stars Winkleigh the night before. We hope for a speedy recovery.

4 v 4 today, decent weather. Standouts were Spud amd Cuddles with some good 4s and 3s. Deadly puts himself on the one stick board. Sorry no pics so heres a green bin instead.

Good 3 v 3 with honours equal. Guest thrower Bandit had a fine game. At one point more bacon sarnies than players!! Plods’s prodigious appetite was missed. NPC took the one stick prize. See you next week.

Great game against the Archers. Managed a three legger while avoiding most of the rain. Highlight of the day as always was the fabulous BBQ afterwards. Mad butcher’s burgers delivered as always, plus the Boy’s seemingly endless supply of sausages and the Painter’s great chicken was beyond tasty. Thanks to all concerned. Braggy highest scored for Winkleigh with a 3 while Cuddles, captaining the visitors, matched this. Good to play a game & even better to hear that next year the opposition intend to win.

I have accidentally left message page. Who knows how. But Sunday is on come what may. Even if it is like this photo. Food will be eaten, sticks will be thrown & alcohol will be imbibed. Having a hangover is no excuse. See you there. Cuddles has been informed.

Enjoyable throw, plenty of humour and some good skills on show. Blobs aplenty but also several 3’s and Spud avoided blobs completely. Some players learnt about the debilitating power of strong lager!! The Painter wrapped up the one stick after a play off with the boy. Game next week against the Archers. See you all there!!

Great day in the sun. 4v4 produced two competitive games. Honours equal. Cuddles rose to the occasion to win the play off for the first game much to Plod’s disappointment. As usual the full range of throwing scores were on show. Well done to everyone and remember it is only a game. Braggy threw some beauties to take the one stick prize. See you next time.

Aunt Sally at the Car show. Good effort to bring the game to the uninitiated. Lovely weather & lots of fun. Thanks to the Boy, Spud & Mr & Mrs Coaches. Stars also put on a mighty fine bar.

Good 4v4 game today. Nice to see our recent hospital residents back!! Lovely to see the Boy & Coaches enjoying the day. Even with the intermittent rain the game was completed. Though it did take two play off rounds to decide the winner. NPC secured the one stick prize being the only player to score!!
