Shaftesbury road cricket & karaoke club is perfectly set up to host fun social matches for touring teams. From a quirky ground to a purposefully built karaoke 🎤 velodrome we are your perfect destination.

If your club needs somewhere fun to play this summer for tour 🍻 or if your a player who wants to join a club where the toss is won by 🎤 🎵opposed to the usual boring 🥱 cricket 🏏 then please do get in touch 📧

Shaftesbury Road Cricket & Karaoke club has grown exponentially since its exemption in 2015 in the garden 🪴 .
In 2026 we have:
2 men’s teams ✅
U18s team ✅
Ladies team ✅
Karaoke enthusiasts ✅

Our volunteers are desperately trying to keep pace with our rapid growth through innovative fundraising ideas.

We have an annual fundraiser (poster above) and we are looking for businesses to sponsor a race. 6 races in total with 8 runners per race 🐎

The cost is £100 per race🙏🍓💚

You business will receive naming rights of said horses and receive advertisement & gratification on our social media pages.

As 2025 draws to an end, we at SRCC are reflecting on the year gone and thinking ahead to the New Year and 2026 season 🏏

The 2025 season saw many accomplishments, including the twos 🍓’s conquering Uphill, our very own scoring 206 not out and El Cret kicking over the stumps at Stoke Bishop away 🤩

In 2025, we were also fortune enough to continue our two year sponsorship deal with lifelong friends of SRCC, the Tripp family at the PDT Group .tripp.installations.ltd 👏🏼 Their generous support, which began the foundings of SRCC’s home in Winford, allowed us to flourish into the team we are today. The Gaffer extends his personal thanks for their support and kindness over the years 💚

However, as with all good things, this has come to an end, and 2026 sees the start of a new sponsorship partnership with 🤝 The first of a 3 year sponsorship, we hope to see many more accomplishments at our newly named home, the Cooper Associates Ground 🏡 🏏

Welcome 🤗 Back to Former Berry Jermaine Jones AKA Michael Angelo 🐢. MA as we lovingly refer to him has played mainly at the WEPL & Somerset Prem level so he’s another astute signing ✍️ for the club.

“Ye great signing for the club; I’ve done it again. To be honest they should just chuck us up a couple of divisions at this rate. It’s November & im on 🔥, I’ve found my 🇧🇪 form again which means trouble for all that stand in our way”. Han get can’t enough of me & I’m out and about in Oxhouse with top off.
