๐Ÿšจ Bringing water safety to life ๐Ÿšจ

Yesterday, we were proud to join forces with the Royal Life Saving Society UK and the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service to deliver an important day of water safety education.

Alongside Olympic champion Tom Dean, our Head of Swimming Jo Kilgallon, Perrybuoy the mascot, and the fantastic fire and rescue team, we welcomed hundreds of young people to learn vital water safety skills and witness live water rescue demonstrations.

As we head into the summer months, understanding the dangers of open water and knowing what to do in an emergency could help save a life.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the day such a success. ๐Ÿ’™

Today, the Tom Dean Swim School team were proud to deliver an educational water safety assembly to multiple schools, helping young people understand the importance of staying safe around water.

Alongside the assemblies, we also hosted a live water safety demonstration with the Fire & Rescue Service, giving pupils a real-life insight into the dangers of open water and what to do in an emergency.

Water safety is a life skill, and by educating young people today, we hope to help prevent accidents and save lives in the future.

A huge thank you to all the schools, teachers, and emergency services who supported todayโ€™s event.

At Tom Dean Swim School, weโ€™re proud to be visiting 50+ schools across the UK, delivering interactive water safety assemblies and sharing powerful educational videos with secondary schools and colleges.

Weโ€™re proud to announce triple Olympic gold medallist Tom Dean as RLSS UKโ€™s celebrity ambassador.

This landmark partnership is driven by one goal: helping more people enjoy the water safely and confidently. As accidental drowning remains a leading cause of preventable death, spreading clear, lifesaving advice has never been more important.

On 17 June, Tom will support RLSS UKโ€™s Drowning Prevention Week with a water safety education event hosted by Tom Dean Swim School in Maidenhead. More than 500 pupils from six local primary schools will receive essential knowledge through live rescue demonstrations by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
