The Little Gym Windsor

The Little Gym Windsor The Little Gym Windsor offers gymnastics & child development classes, camps and parties filled with fun, movement and learning. And we loved that.

Classes for babies aged 10 weeks to children aged 12 years old. Our children went to The Little Gym from a young age, and it quickly became our favourite activity of the week. Not only did the classes develop them physically, but their confidence blossomed, they made new friends, and we loved watching them giggling and glowing with pride in class. We could see that these weekly gymnastics classes

were good for their souls, not just their bodies. We loved it so much that we decided to open our own and share The Little Gym opportunity with families in Berkshire. In our gym, we want each child to feel loved and valued, building their self-esteem and confidence on a personal level. We want to build their bodies, their brains, and their social and emotional skills. And in doing so, we want to help them build a foundation of skills that will last a life time. Just as importantly, we want them to have FUN – that’s when they learn best! Throwing on an imaginary cape and feeling their feet fly as they master their first forward roll, cartwheel, somersault or flip. We want them to float on a happy, confident cloud every single time they leave the gym. We can’t wait to welcome your family to The Little Gym Windsor, and we hope to see your child's eyes sparkling with fun and confidence in our gym soon! Andi & Matina

She flew, she flipped, and she nailed it ✨

Nothing beats the moment a gymnast gets a new skill, and the pure joy on her teachers’ faces says it all 😍

Barefoot play helps children develop stronger feet, better balance, improved coordination, and healthier movement patterns.
Even short periods each day can make a meaningful difference, which is why we encourage your child to be barefoot in their Little Gym classes, and here's some great benefits for them:

⭐️ Barefoot play activates the small muscles in the feet that shoes often restrict

⭐️Helps develop arches, stability, and balance, plus reduces reliance on stiff soles or artificial support.

⭐️The soles of the feet contain thousands of nerve endings, which improves proprioception (knowing where the body is in space) & strengthens neural connections between the feet and brain.

⭐️ Being barefoot enhances coordination & builds confidence in movement.

This may look like a type of handstand, but the benefits it has for children are endless..

⭐️ shoulder, arm, and core strength to help with my writing
⭐️better posture to help me sit still
⭐️ stronger proprioception to help me understand where my body is in the space around me
⭐️balance & coordination to help me manage my movements in the space around me
⭐️confidence to try something challenging

Sometimes, what looks like 'just gymnastics' is actually helping children develop the physical, cognitive, and emotional foundations they use every day 🤸‍♀️
