From one idea in a Devon home to an international equestrian grooming brand – what an incredible journey it has been.
It was an absolute pleasure for Smart Grooming to partner with Royal Windsor Horse Show 2026, not only showcasing our products within the shopping village but also proudly supporting the In-Hand Coloured and Hack classes through our sponsorship.
As the founder of Smart Grooming, moments like these make me reflect on just how far we have come.
Back in 2006, I launched the business with just one simple idea, Smart Tails, a humane way to tidy manes and tails without causing discomfort. Almost overnight, it became a best seller and opened the doors to the equestrian grooming world in a way I could never have imagined.
Nearly 20 years later, we remain a family-run business, still operating from our Devon home, with a growing collection of over 200 carefully developed grooming products used and trusted by equestrians across all disciplines, throughout the UK and increasingly around the world.
Royal Windsor Horse Show offered us the perfect stage to share our passion for quality grooming, connect with so many wonderful horse owners, and be part of such an iconic celebration of the equestrian world.
It was a truly inspiring and uplifting week for the entire Smart Grooming team. We are incredibly proud of what we have built and excited for what the future holds.
