Wearing a crown like the Queen she is 👑

Another slay over the weekend at Endure24

A very big year for Emily and it’s only June

But you know why she’s able to do all these (insane) events?!

But she’s gotten strong, and continues to get stronger

And she’s learning how to fuel her body with food

We’ve put an end to the restriction/binge cycling only to never get the results she wanted

And we’ve completely turned things around so that she eats consistently, she enjoys her food, and she has all the energy and drive to put into her training and endurance

With each new challenge she gives herself she gets more and more confident in knowing food is her best friend, not her enemy

Now time to ease up on the endurance and put some big focus into the strength gains

She truly is a big strong girl and her determination is so admirable

You can also break the terrible relationship you have with food and learn to fuel instead of restrict

And finally get strong, lean and toned (and surprise yourself with what you could achieve)

Endure24 2026? Completed it mate ✅

When Heather did Endure24 last year it was a very different matter

Eating well, moving more, training…

It’s not all about looking good

(Even though she looks phenomenal)

It’s also about performing your best, getting the most out of training or any event, recovering well

And ultimately, feeling really good for it

Fuelling right is something we have to learn

Unfortunately we don’t get taught the stuff that really matters when we’re at school

So it’s something we now have to get our heads around as adults

After years of being told we need to eat as little as possible just to be as small as possible

Fuel properly and you’ll get the most out of your training

If my face is anything to go by, I am very much ready for the weekend already

Poor sleep after a comp is not the one

And it would’ve been easy to give check in a miss today

But we still show up and get s**t done

Recovery ❤️‍🩹 is key heading into this week

Lots of food and going a little easier with the first day or two of training

And then picking things back up towards the end of the week

Movement is still a big thing even after a comp

There’s a difference between moving for recovery and just sitting your arse on a sofa all day

I can almost guarantee you’ll feel worse for not moving at all

Today will involve lots of getting up and stepping away from my desk
Having a big long walk
A solid stretch sesh
And eating a lot of nutritious food

Whether you compete or not, if you feel lethargic and burnt out day in day out, a lot of that can come down to what you’re eating

You need to learn to fuel properly to boost your energy and not just be surviving day to day
