Anyways a big thank you to Nik Upton for all the help this weekend building the new tackle shed and without his help i wouldn't have been able to build it. My best friend .

Anyways fishing has been off for a while as I am super super busy but we will try our very best to time this idea so the weather and conditions are absolutely perfect.

Myself and nik are massive fans of lure fishing all my lure fishing has been on canals and resevoir . Niks the same and rivers also.

We are hoping to encourage alot of people who have experience and non lure anglers to get together maybe one day to fish and help others to lure fish on the river ribble. Its only an idea at this moment non lure anglers will be shadowed by lots of lure anglers to gleem technique and also where needed use of equipment.

Ime hoping to ask the lads n lasses from the ribble whiskers n whispers group to come on board with the project.

We will get to meet other anglers make new friends and also expand our fishing knowledge . A perfect way to celebrate our love of the river ribble .

I myself will learn alot from this experience. I've done realy well lure fishing canals in my formative years but only on canals. Personally myself own hundreds of lures and every weight class rod n reel including lots of baitcasting gear which alot of people. May want to try out. The reason for this post is purely to gauge the interest in this idea and once we have a good clue to how to approach this we will do our very best to make this happen.

We have alot of talented anglers who i would love to help out on this project as I know they will do a better job than myself to help others on the river and no doubt show us old codgers how s**t hot they are.

Myself and nik upton had a great time fishing windermere with mitsy. We met some colourful anglers. Had some lovely food. Nik shown why he is mustard on the predators and I caught the beast of windermere.

Had a cracking day with nik upton today. The stamp of fish was extremely promising. We worked out between us the perfect rig n set up ranges blady blady blah. Me waffling. Nik smashed it and sorry I havnt got his pictures .
It was twice the depth . I've ever caught bream on the steepest slope off ever like fishing in a canyon. Every fish was a challenge to get over a ledge. Ile be honest I lost alot of feeders within first couple of hours but once we had a re shuffle it was game on. These are just a sample of the wide variety of colours. And had an apricot colored hybrid. Niks got a shed load of pictures and hopefully itle highlight some amazing totally wild fish. Fantastic day and mitsy was so good as ever 😊😊😊

Propper lost me s**t looking for these buggers. I thought I know better get my crap sorted in van.
And you know how random we are when you open dozens of bags n can't find that special box of wafters that never come off the spikes. Balanced perfectly every feckin time n catch you shed loads of fish.
Well anyways the bastards wernt there. So monkey nuts goes in the kitchen and empties every feckin or***ce bag drawer. Check tackle room. Nope anyways I go n empty van and all it's contents again. By this time ime feckin loosing it .load van again.empty kitchen tackle room and I glance over. Fookers are next to my bed for safe keeping. Feckin barm pot. Loosing it slowly 😅😅😅

Hello everyone. I apologise for not posting anything for a very long time.
I havnt fished for the best part of 6 months due to ongoing health problems which havnt been resolved.
But I have decided that I can either sit around worrying or get some fresh air.
Myself and nik are going out tomorrow and to be honest we will fish somewhere with absolutely no track record of actually catching anything but I like that more than a dead cert.
I think we take our health for granted and time is precious.
I dont drink alcohol i dont consume takeaway I dont use salt. No sugary drinks. I havnt lost any weight and my symptoms if anything have actually got more frequent so life style changes havnt worked.
I have decided not to complain but to at least try n enjoy what I was enjoying pre illness.
Ime going to empty these cupboards or atleast try.
Ime not going to wash the reels that's a step to far.
Anyways watch this space as I will be filming .

Yayyy. Knowing we would be having our last river session for a while. myself and mitsy moo headed off to the very sluggish slow moving gin clear river ribble yesterday
With a tin of corn and a tin of meat.
2 bites. But to be honest. They were good bites.mitsy enjoyed her day n says apparently we are mostly going to be fishing resevoirs for a while.😃😃😃
