I would love is to start a conversation with local people about community fitness classes.
I teach at The Village, Everyone Active, Places and David Lloyd during the day, so I know how popular classes like Legs, Bums & Tums, Pilates and other group fitness classes can be — some are regularly full or waitlisted.
But getting people through the door of an independent community class can be a completely different story.
So I’m genuinely curious. Which one sounds most like you?
🤔 I keep thinking about trying a class, but haven’t actually done it yet
😬 I’d like to come, but walking into a new class on my own puts me off
🙋♀️ I already go to a community fitness class and love it
💃 I’ve tried Clubbercise before
🫣 I used to exercise/go to classes, but I’ve completely fallen out of the habit
🏋️♀️ I prefer gym classes because they’re included in my membership
👀 I’ve seen your posts/ads, Sarah — I just haven’t been tempted enough to book!
❓ I’d consider it, but I need to know more first
And that last one is particularly useful to me. What would you actually want to know before trying a new class?
Is it the price? Fitness level? What happens when you arrive? Whether everyone already knows each other? Whether you’ll be able to keep up? What the class is actually like? Or have my adverts simply not explained it properly?
You can be completely honest — I’m not going to jump into your replies shouting “BOOK NOW!” 😂
I’d much rather understand what local people actually want from community fitness than keep guessing and throwing adverts at you.
So… what stops you taking that first step? 👇
