Winchester Karate Club is a non profit club, supporting and donating funds to Naomi House Children's Hospice. We are a family adult Karate club affiliated to the SKKIF, welcoming beginners and students of all grades.

Wi******er Karate Club (WKC) welcomes adults of all abilities, age, and experience, beginners are encouraged and most welcome. WKC is located at the Wi******er Tennis Racquet & Fitness Club, full details regarding WKC are available on the club website. https://www.winchesterkarateclub.co.uk

Adult Karate training is practised on a Saturday 12.00 - 13.30.
The training fee is £20 per month, and paid by Direct Debit.
The funds raised by WKC are donated monthly to Naomi House Children’s Hospice https://www.naomihouse.org.uk

Traditional Shotokan Karate is practised in a relaxed environment, with an emphasis on improving overall health and wellbeing, while remaining strictly focused on developing a practical, and realistic understanding of a fascinating Japanese Martial Art.
The Dojo (training hall) is a modern spacious studio, providing a sprung floor, full length mirrors, and air conditioning. The Tennis Club provides free parking, changing rooms and showers.
Wi******er Karate Club welcomes new members, and advanced Karate practitioners.

Wi******er Karate Club holds appropriate safeguarding policies and recognition, and the KUGB safeguarding certificate is to follow. I’m pleased to announce, that our safeguarding officer is Nazareen.

A great weekend of Karate practise, and proud achievements. On Friday evening Nazareen successfully passed the KUGB 3rd Kyu assessment and was awarded her Brown Obi by Sensei Frank Brennan 8th Dan KUGB https://kugb.org/instructors/8th-dan/frank-brennan/
Many thanks to my great friend Shaun Knight Sensei and everyone at ‘Knight Karate Club’ https://knightkarateclub.com as always, we were sincerely welcomed into this fellow KUGB Karate Club.
Saturday normal training (12.00 13.30) and on Sunday Wi******er Karate Club held it’s first ‘Functional Karate’ class at the Dojo, located at Wi******er Tennis Club https://www.winchesterkarateclub.co.uk
The ‘functional Karate classes are hopefully planned monthly, and held on a Sunday morning.
Although the actual grade was achieved with another organisation, it my pleasure to present Kimberley England with a hand made Japanese Kuro Obi.
