Elevate x Verb Run Club 🏃‍♂️💪

On Monday night we teamed up with Verb Run Club for a strength and conditioning session designed specifically for runners.

Running isn’t just about logging miles. To run faster, further and stay injury-free, you need strong muscles, resilient joints and a body that can handle the demands of training week after week.

The session focused on lower body strength, stability and power to help build robust, durable athletes who can perform better and recover more effectively.

Great energy, great people and a great example of why strength training should be part of every runner’s programme.

One of the most valuable exercises you can have in your programme. 💪

The RDL is a compound movement that targets the glutes, hamstrings, lower back and core—all of the muscles that help you move, lift, run and stay injury-free in everyday life.

It’s not always the flashy exercises that deliver the biggest results. Consistently getting stronger through movements like the RDL can improve posture, athletic performance, running efficiency and overall strength.

That’s why you’ll find variations of this movement programmed regularly at Elevate. Master the technique first, then progressively build strength over time.

The SUMMER HYBRID GAMES are coming this July! 🔥

A mix of 4 workouts, with 10-minute work intervals and 5-minute rest periods in between.

Expect a combination of:
🏃 Hybrid
🏋️ Strength
⚡ Perform fitness
🤸 Gymnastic movements

A true test of all-round fitness, designed to challenge every skill and ability.

The best part? It’s open to everyone from complete beginners to experienced fitness lovers.

We’ve created the Hybrid Games because we know events like Hyrox can be heavily cardio-focused. We wanted to build something that rewards strength, movement, fitness, teamwork, and grit, making it more inclusive and accessible for all abilities.

Whether you’re competing to win, challenge yourself, or simply be part of an incredible day with the community, this event is for you.
