Rollers are back with the addition of a yoga movement practice 💙
Tonight’s session we used hangman to distract riders from the effort. To uncouple the body movement and the brain. Noticing things that happen when our brains are thinking about something else, going to hard or slowing down, one rider actually stoped pedalling to think.
We only played the game for half the time but it was a great way to experience distraction in a setting where it doesn’t matter. Bringing our attention back to our body and what we’re aiming to achieve.
How have you done this before in sessions. Would love some more ideas. 💡
This was also our first yoga practice and whilst Nicky feels very unfamiliar with the set up and working through all the things you have to remember it was a good start. Thanks to for all your support over the last few months as I have built on my learning and putting it into practice.
