JJDOGS WINTER LEAGUE
The aim of the league is for everyone to have a chance to compete in a friendly atmosphere, whether wanting to compete at shows or just have fun with your dog!
The league is open to all dogs 18mths and overonththe day and 16mths and over for the steeplechase league.
The league will run over 6 monthly events and the final will be in March.
There will be a Steeplechase league ( jumps and tunnels) and an Agility league which will include contacts and weaves.
If only running the steeplechase league, you may run twice and your best run will count.
Dogs may compete at 1 height lower than their competition height or their proposed height if not measured.
Dogs running nfc or lower than 1 height less will not be awarded points.this is a points league,points awarded over each event and accumulated for the final. The finals will be the top 20 dogsover the 6 events.
Points will be awarded as 1st =20 points down to 20th =1point. Elimination= 0 points Faults will just mean lower placing but points can still be awarded.
Under 5 dogs in a height = half points
Dogs Grade 4 kc and above,or uka equivalent will be half points
Subject to weather and ground conditions ,steeplechase will be inside on astroturf, agility will be outside on grass or sand arena. Severe weather both will be on astroturf.
Each event will have Rosettes and Goodie bag to 3rd place
Finals will be Trophies ,rosettes goodies to highest points overall to 3rd. Final runs Trophies Rosettes and goodies to 3rd

Entries will close 10 days before each event.
Start time 9.30 for coursewalking. 10am competition starts.

NOVEMBER 5 small and medium 1st in ring
DECEMBER 3 intermediate and large 1st in ring
JANUARY 7 small and medium first in ring

FINALS MARCH 3

No bi***es in season
No dogs with any sign of illness or contagious disease
No harsh handling
Pick up and take away all dog waste.
