Wimborne Wayfarers Hockey Club Wimborne Wayfarers Hockey Club is a family orientated community based hockey club. We have a healthy Junior section of the club ranging from minis up to U14s.

Wimborne Wayfarers Hockey Club (WWHC) is a growing family club in Wimborne, Dorset aiming to develop hockey for all ages and abilities. We warmly welcome players, coaches, parents and supporters of all standards and ages, so please feel free to get in touch about training, games and socials! WWHC is based around a family atmosphere and aims to promote physical and mental health and well-being through the enjoyment of hockey. We invite beginners of all ages to come and have a go to enjoy playing a fantastic team game. Alongside the development of beginners, the Club promotes competitive hockey for those who desire a high standard of play as well as the opportunity for recreational hockey within a social environment. The Club also has a mixed team alongside two Mens teams and three ladies teams. Our Men’s 1st XI play in Hampshire Division 4 and the Ladies 1st XI play in the Hampshire Premier Division. We train and play home games at QE Leisure Centre, Wimborne:-

Juniors Training (7-9yrs): Tuesdays 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Juniors Training (10-13yrs): Tuesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Mens Training: Tuesdays 8:00pm - 9.30pm
Ladies Training: Wednesdays 7.30pm - 9.00pm

We'll be hosting a manner of different events during the day:

- Come down to watch our Ladies 1st team against New Forest in a friendly

- A second hand hockey sale

- Mixed 7-a-side games

- Social drinks after at the Horns Inn

TRAINING IS BACK!

Men's training starts Tuesday 2nd of September @ 20:00

Ladies training starts Wednesday 3rd of September @ 19:30

Our training will always be welcome to all whether you join at the start of the season or join halfway through. We have a great number of fantastic coaches who are looking to help those new to the sport master the basics whilst also pushing those experienced players!
