A huge thank you to Moors Valley Golf Club for choosing us as their charity partner for the year 💙

Simon and Kerry from the club came into The Windmill to see first-hand where the money will be going and kindly presented Aggie with £41.80 already raised, an amazing start! 👏

Every penny will go towards supporting the many activities we provide at The Windmill for disabled children and their families.

Today we played the annual Kim Carter Trophy which is in memory of a much missed member of MVGC. Many congratulations to the winner Dave Simpson who scored a great 41 points. We were very pleased that the trophy was presented by Jan Carter along with our Men’s Captain - Alan White. Well done and thanks to all that took part.

For our summer tour this year we took to the fairways at The Vale Resort, South Wales to play for the Kim Carter Summer Tour Trophy. A fantastic time was had by all, and very many thanks must go to Alan White for his superb organisational skills. Many congratulations to Joe Turner who won the individual trophy, and to the Red team who won the Ryder Cup format. Thanks to all who attended and made this such a successful and memorable trip.

Today at Moors Valley both the Ladies and Men played their respective Presidents Cup’s. Many congratulations to Julia Gibb who won the Ladies cup and to Steve Knight who won the Men’s. The trophies were presented by our President - Peter Dicker. Well done to all those that took part.
