Tommy – Amazing dribbling, learning his stepovers, and some brilliant defending!

Hudson – Fantastic dribbling, amazing listening skills, and scoring lots of goals!

Leo – Fantastic all session long, showing great ball skills and scoring plenty of goals!

This Saturday we’re back at Stars FC, Canford Park for our final pre-season fixture as we welcome Bournemouth Electric Reserves. 🏠⚽

Sturminster Newton Reserves 1–3 Stars FC

Another really positive afternoon for a young Stars side, coming away with a deserved win despite having plenty of players missing. ⭐

Once again, the future was on show with FIVE 16/17-year-olds in the starting XI. A brilliant learning experience for them, getting valuable minutes in senior football and continuing their development. 👏⚫⚪

Plenty still to work on as we continue building towards the new season, but another important 90 minutes in the legs and some really encouraging signs throughout the squad.

Canford Park is an incredible facility and has given Stars a fantastic new home. As well as our own teams training and playing there, we now have many local teams regularly visiting the site, with other local clubs also using our facilities.
