Despite the difficulties with the gearbox at Pembery and retiring from race one, we are still 2nd in the championship with a chance of taking 1st at the last meeting. This is a long shot, but you never know. The only real chance is if we can get ahead of James in his Porsche for all three races, which is a tall order in the Mazda....

No trophies this weekend but after all the challenges of the race weekend to end up with two 4th places after having to nurse the car is a great result. By the end of the 3rd (my 2nd!) I was feeling confident with the track and felt able to properly push.

Still had a fantastic time and I can't thank Craig Rocketdog Racing enough for working almost 24 hours straight to get the car ready.

Congrats to Haslett 78 and Jaz for an epic battle. I hope to be up there soon.

Well, that was eventful! I missed Qualifying as the RX8 was at Silverstone for a different event. Unfortunately the gearbox blew and this caused the electrics to catch fire, frying the loom. After a crazy overnight rebuild and a drive to Wales, it made it hy this morning.

Rocketdog Racing pulled an all nighterto get it out. If karma was a thing we would have had a 1-2, but sadly the VW got a hole in the rad so that is out for the day and then I got what I thought was smoke coming up through the gear lever! Looks like it was steam from the 'box being out in the rain for months. It looks like the 'box is a bit ropey but we will manage it through the rest of the day.

So, after being let down at the previous race by the company making the decals, I have finally obtained the ones I wanted. Looking forward to seeing what they will look like on the car at the weekend.....

🏁Prep for 2027 is already under way!

Next season, we will be looking to run 4 cars in both the 750 Roadsports and the BRSCC Clubsport. This means we will have 8 seats available for the season with the option to seat share in both series.

We will be running 2 Class B VW Scirocco GT 250bhp DSG 1200kg and 2 class D Audi A3s 150bhp 1200kg, transmission type yet to be decided.

The addition of the new class D cars will provide an excellent affordable entry level option in competitive racing in 2 of the countries best series, while our ongoing development of our Sciroccos will see us with potentially front running class B cars for 2027.

As ever, we are working to offer the best value affordable race packages we can and are gearing up for what will be a mega season.
