What a fantastic weekend at the Unicorn Tournament!

We had 11 Longford Park JFC teams taking part this year, and we’re incredibly proud of every single player, coach, and supporter who represented the club so brilliantly.

An amazing three of our teams reached their finals, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be our day, with all three narrowly missing out on the trophies after penalty shootouts. Football can be cruel at times, but reaching a final is a fantastic achievement and every player should be proud of themselves.

From start to finish, all of our teams represented the club superbly, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone involved. The teamwork, togetherness, and effort shown throughout the weekend were outstanding, creating memories that will last a lifetime. 💙🖤

A huge thank you to Reice and everyone at Unicorn for putting on another fantastic tournament. As always, we loved being part of it and can’t wait to be back next year! 👏🏆

A huge congratulations to Joe and the boys for securing the win yesterday! What an amazing achievement for a fantastic group of players.

A lot of these boys started their football journey with us right from the very beginning at Mini KIX, so it’s a beautiful sight to see them all together lifting the trophy and enjoying the moment as a team.

Their first season in the league, and they walk away with the biggest prize 🏆 What a way to finish the season!

A massive well done to all the boys, and to Joe for the fantastic work throughout the season, absolutely brilliant!

🏆 U10s County Champion Cup Winners! 🏆

These boys are the real football heroes 💙🖤

In their very first season together as a team in the MYSL League, things were tough at the beginning. Results didn’t go their way, and wins were hard to come by. But one of the most beautiful things about football is togetherness, and these boys showed that in abundance.

They stuck together, kept believing, and continued working hard alongside their manager Sam. Their determination has now been rewarded as they lift Champions Cup and bring home the biggest trophy you’ve ever seen! 🏆

What an incredible achievement from the boys, Sam and Ste. A huge well done also goes to the parents, whose support and commitment ensured the lads kept turning up, learning, improving, and enjoying the journey.

From a difficult start to the Champions an amazing story and a season these boys will never forget. 💙🖤🏆🤩

🏆 U8s Tournament Winners 🏆

For a team playing together for the first time, the passing, positioning and link up play stood out, with goals shared around and huge defensive performances throughout. Every player contributed and made an impact when it mattered.

Like Argentina in 2022, we grew into the tournament finishing the group stage with a win, draw and loss before going through the final group games and knockout stages without conceding a goal! Congratulations to Paul and his girls 🏆
