To guys helping on Saturday with the scouts event, firstly thank you.

I will be there from 7am - 7.30am to start setting up the gear.

Can you bring your seat box, landing net, landing net pole and bait tub. Also if you have any spare camping chairs can you bring them as I can't remember how many seat boxes and chairs we got in tackle shed.

First session will be 9am - 11am & second session 11.30am - 1.30pm.

We got 18 kids on the first session & 16 kids on second session.

Got 2 kids fishing events coming up in September, so am looking for help with them.

Got potentially 40 scouts visiting on Sat 12th September (will be split into 2 x 2hr groups) will be done by 1.30pm

And potentially 20 cubs visiting the evening of Thurs 17th September.

So yeah 60 kids that we are introducing to fishing, so if you can help on either event comment below please so I can start to plan things

LAST WARNING

More toilet paper, more rubbish and cameras being tampered with.

This really is last warning now, I've been pondering how Willington Lake's future is going a lot these last few seasons.

The way it is going currently is I will keep lake for myself (I can easily afford the lease on it) and it will be invite only members.

I could put it up to £100 a season to get rid of the people that abuse the place, and do nothing!!!!! But as I say money ain't the issue.

I've tried to open it up to as many people as possible to be able to fish there, but unfortunately as always the minority are going to destroy it for the majority.

Don't make me decide.............it's upto you lot, all the current members.

Just an update on Willington water levels......

As some will have probably noticed the lake is quite low, so there will be no matches until will start to get some rain and levels improve.

NO KEEPNETS TO BE USED

If you are considering fishing make it early morning or late evening, try not to stress the fish out when temps are at their highest.

I'm trying my hardest not to fully shut it down, so it's up to all you members to keep and eye on things and spread the word.
